'Gender Justice, Reparations and Armed Conflict' is an independent research project created with the aim of generating theoretical and practical tools to advance the right to reparation for crimes perpetrated against women during and as a result of armed conflicts.   

    This project has been conceived and conducted by Gaby Oré Aguilar.  She developed the research's concept and methodology, carried out comparative substantive analysis and directed the project through its completion, last October 2007.  She is grateful to the individual consultants and organizations that provided valuable support at the various stage of the research process.  The findings will be published in printed and electronic versions in both English and Spanish (forthcoming)   

    This website will remain as a resource for advocates, students and anyone interested in advancing reparation standards for gender crimes through judicial adjudication.
